For over 50 years, KAG has been developing and producing customised drive solutions for demanding applications – quickly, reliably and directly at our headquarter in Hanover.

Precisely tailored components for your application

Individual winding

The number of windings, wire diameter and armature geometry are precisely customised to your application profile – for example, for precise control behaviour in door systems or for applications with manual emergency opening.

Mechanical attachment

Whether round shafts, flattening, cross hole or toothing – the mechanical attachment is customised precisely to your requirements. On request, brushed motors can be equipped with suitable interference suppression – including EMC pre-compliance measurements in-house.

Protection classes

IP40/IP50 are available as standard, but higher protection classes up to IP69 can also be provided on request. For particularly demanding environments, the motors can also be customised with an exterior coating according to their specific requirements.

Individual cables

Benefit from almost unlimited possibilities in cable assembly – customised to function, installation situation and application environment. The close cooperation with our partner company KEG Kählig Elektrotechnik GmbH ensures maximum flexibility and tailor-made solutions.

Add-on components

Whether planetary, worm or spur gearboxes – the right attachment solution is integrated directly into your motor. Magnetic and optical encoders as well as a wide selection of brakes are also available.

Dimensions

Housings, interfaces and mountings are designed to make every millimetre count – ideal for compact installation spaces and challenging installation situations.

Consulting

Technical feasibility and variants are examined so that you can make an informed decision about function, integration and costs.

Concept

You will receive a customised drive concept, including initial samples and CAD data for your further development.

Optimisation

Design and function are gradually refined, including EMC preliminary testing and service life tests.

Approval

Once you have given your approval, a pre-production series is manufactured under series conditions, allowing you to comprehensively test and approve the drive solution under real-use conditions.

Series production

Flexible and reliable in-house production guarantees that your quantities are produced on time and in accordance with the highest quality standards.
