Around 70 per cent of international and national trade fairs were cancelled in the first half of 2021 due to uncertain general conditions. According to AUMA, 113 trade fair events are still planned for 2021 for the current calendar year. Initially, 380 trade fairs were scheduled to take place.
Due to the unclear situation caused by COVID-19 in the first half of the year, we have decided to take a pandemic-related break this year regarding our analogue trade fair appearance at SPS 2021 in Nuremberg.
The protection of our visitors and employees and the containment of the risk of infection are significant to us.
Factors such as the limited number of visitors to the stand, limited communication options and changes in the trade fair construction were also crucial to our decision.
The circumstances under which the trade fair appearance would have taken place would not have been compatible with our ideas of a successful trade fair.
Despite all this, we still see ourselves back at the SPS in 2022. We are looking positively into the new year and look forward to renewed personal exchange with you.
