Declaration of Compliance

The actions of the management and all other executives of the Kählig Antriebstechnik GmbH are determined by the principles of responsible and transparent corporate management and control.

The explicit commitment to the conscious implementation of the generally accepted compliance principles, the ZVEI – Code of Conduct with regard to contents, supports the sustained confidence-building among business partners as well as employees.

Pro-active dealing with compliance with relevant standards is absolutely essential for the long-term success of the company. It aims, among other things, at improving the creation of value within the company.

Another objective of the management is to detect potential risks on potential violations of legal standards and socially recognized values at an early stage. Possible infringements shall be prevented already in advance by intensive and direct communication as well as the identification and implementation of appropriate measures together with the persons involved.

For the management of the Kählig Antriebstechnik GmbH, the term Compliance does not only imply compliance with the relevant precepts and prohibitions from statutory specifications. In addition, the compliance of the entrepreneurial business behavior with the social values regarding morals and ethics is defined as well.

Because of moral and ethical reasons, KAG won´t develop, produce or deliver products for any military application which is used for the development, production and use in weapons or which are used for the intentional harm and death of people. KAG and all employees of KAG will follow these standard without any exception even if it would be legal according to the law.

This is a dynamic process for all persons involved. In this process, the fundamental and social values as well as the legal standards are constantly developing in line with the changing requirements.

The call for complying with the self-commitment does not only extend to all permanent employees of the Kählig Antriebstechnik GmbH, but also to freelancers, consultants, suppliers and contractual partners for work and labour.

If actions or omissions of the group of people mentioned above are contrary to the compliance principles, they are absolutely disapproved and punished by the Kählig Antriebstechnik GmbH.
These expectations are in accordance with the transnational and recognised compliance principles of social responsibility and can thus be applied all over the world.
