At KAG, in addition to a wide range of motor solutions and add-on components such as gears or brakes, we also carry a selection of control electronics for your drive solution. These are integrated control electronics for brushless or brushed motors.
Electronics
Digitalisation and Industry 4.0
For several years now, KAG has been developing and producing hardware and software solutions for its own EC and DC series in order to be able to support customers in precisely these areas. A high degree of flexibility and a wide range of possible applications characterise the solutions of KAG motors. The same applies to the rapid implementation of customised firmware adaptations. All our electronics allow communication with the CAN bus via various protocols.
The standard firmware of all electronics includes precise control of speed and position. Additional requirements can be programmed by KAG into the firmware of the electronics on a customer-specific basis if desired.
Examples of implemented requirements:
- Speed control for single grain seeding heart
- Flap control controlled via digital inputs
- Automatic door control with temperature monitoring
- Target position generator: Calculation of the motor position based on customer-specific boundary conditions
- Speed control according to the sensor input
- Input of light barrier pulse signals
- Reading in a load scale via analogue inputs
- Input of signal from a level sensor
- Input of an external speed pulse
Your advantages of our electronics
The use of our electronics in your drive solution brings you many advantages and can of course be applied to all of our drive solution application areas listed in the portfolio.
- Precise control function (speed and position)
- A large number of protocols possible (CANopen, J1939, customer-specific protocols, etc.)
- Simple Plug & Play solution
- Compact design electronics for brushed and brushless motors
- Powerful IO outputs (up to 1A continuous current)
- The control function is tailored to customer requirements
- Coordination of the housing on customer request (e.g. IP67, special plug or outlet direction)
- Adaptation of the entire drive system unit to customer requirements
- Optional KAG own parameterization software and USB adapter
